The basic idea behind the concept of electronic gearshift is simple: very rapid changes without full throttle clutch. The device disconnects the ignition, removing the load from the gearbox and allowing you to shift up without closing the throttle control. When the ignition is reactivated, the gear is already on. Without problems, without uncertainties, without wasting time.
It is possible that you gain only a couple of milliseconds at each change, but each small gain is added to the end of each lap, and can give surprising results.
